1. Grapes - Base price $118.00 for up to 23L / 5 imp. Gal. - Bring in a sample bunch to be tested before you pick all your grapes. - 100 lbs (2 large coolers full) will give approximately 23L. juice depending on what style of wine you want you will need between 30-100lbs for 23L of wine. The more juice the "better the quality" of wine. - You will have to spend 1 hour or more crushing and pressing at the shop. When the wine is finished, after a minimum of 10 weeks, you will have to spend about half an hour bottling.
2. Other fruits -Base price $118.00 for up to 23L / 5 imp. Gal.
- Usually 20-30lbs to make 23L of wine, Put fruit in freezer. - Before you bring the fruit in come into the shop and pick up some things you will need first. - After you have picked up what you will need , Day 1. Thaw fruit in bucket. - Day 2. add packet #1 and mix in. - Day 3 . 24 hours after mixing packet #1 add yeast. - Day 3 . Phone and book a time to press fruit (approx.. 1 hr.) - Day 5-8 , Day 5 for a fruitier wine, fday 8 for more bite. - Bring in 4kg sugar for a wine between 10-12% alc. More sugar if you want a higher alcohol %. - When the wine is finished, after a minimum of 10 weeks, you will have to spend about half an hour bottling.
3. Apples & Pears -Base price $118.00 for up to 23L / 5 imp. Gal.
-Apples & Pears are best for juicing when they are still crisp, (over ripe , soft pears will not be juiced here) - If you have juice bring it in and we can make Cider, Perry, Apple wine or Pear wine. Some sugar may be needed.
